But we started somewhere small. We made the calls. We made the connections. We took the little opportunities and rejoiced in the big.
In 1984, Greg Sidwell, with a vending distribution background, recognized the need for a Florida broker and founded G & J after moving from Georgia. Cultivating strong manufacturer partnerships, G & J expanded throughout the southeast, becoming the industry’s first regional broker by 2000. In 2010, G & J’s acquisition of Specmark transformed them into a national broker across 48 states, fostering a dynamic alliance with Vistar and industry leaders. This network acted as a catalyst, propelling unprecedented growth and ensuring that each achievement became a stepping stone toward an even more promising future.

G & J takes pride in being the premier broker in representing each of our channels. Since our national expansion in 2010, we service the entire continental US with three nationwide divisions, complemented by an exceptional customer service team based in our corporate office.
