But we started somewhere small. We made the calls. We made the connections. We took the little opportunities and rejoiced in the big.


With backgrounds and careers in vending distribution, Greg and Jayne, the owners of G & J, were looking for a change in 1984. With many manufacturer connections, they sought out what the vending and convenience industry needed at the time, a Florida broker. Packing their bags from Georgia to Florida, G & J was formed. Over the first years, milestones and successes were achieved but not without growing pains. Through strong relationships with manufacturers, G & J expanded their representation into Georgia and Alabama. While continuing to grow further into the southeast, by 2000, G & J became the very first regional broker. As opportunity kept knocking, by 2010, G & J was now a national broker with coverage of 48 states. In that year, G & J acquired Specmark and was able to forge a new relationship with Vistar and connect with many others in the industry that accelerated their growth.

This diversity allows our team to be strong across all segments and excel in niche markets. G & J is divide up into 2 divisions nationwide and backed by a distinguished customer service team in our corporate office.
